Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso is back in the country after over a month of seeking treatment in London and India.

The governor jetted in from India on Sunday morning and was received by her deputy governor Hillary Barchok without much publicity.

The Bomet DG disclosed that Governor Laboso is not yet out of the woods calling for support from Kenyans.

"The governor arrived in the country this morning, and would be continuing with treatment. She needs our prayers and support," he stated adding that she had not been cleared to resume her daily duties at the county government.

Dr Barchok remained tight-lipped about what is ailing the governor stating that it was up to the family to speak about it.

"The state of her health is strictly a family affair, we cannot purport to speak for them. She should be given the support she needs and we should not intrude into their privacy," he stated during a church service in Narok.
