The national Super Alliance led by Raila Odinga, since the nullification of August 8 polls, has been rallying for major reforms at the IEBC, failure to which could prompt him to quit the race.

On Monday, while speaking in Kisii County’s Gusii stadium, Mr Odinga told his supporters to keep off the polling stations on Thursday even as the IEBC grapple with logistical issues, two days to the repeat polls.

“There will be no elections until all our demands are me,” Mr Odinga told supporters in a rally in Kisii, hours after Governor Rasanga was sued.

A wide gap seems to be emerging in the National Super Alliance with a section of Governors urging its supporters to take part in the exercise the IEBC chairman has affirmed that may not be credible.

Taita Taveta County governor Granton Samboja is the recent Wiper (affiliate party in Nasa) to call on his constituents to vote for Uhuru Kenyatta in October 26 fresh polls. The move has created disquiet in Raila Odinga’s backyard.
