Members of the 12th Parliament who are scheduled to interview President Uhuru Kenyatta's nominee for the Inspector General position visited DCI headquarters on Thursday.

The Departmental Committee on Administration & National Security was received by DCI boss George Kinoti who remained at hand as they made their inspection of the facility.
According to a statement from the DCI, the MPs assessed and familiarized themselves with various operations of the directorate.
Vetting of Hilary Mutyambai for IG position
A notice published in the local dailies on Thursday outlined that Mr Hilary Nzioki Mutyambai would be vetted on Thursday March 28, 2019.
The process will be undertaken jointly by the Departmental Committee on Administration & National Security of the National Assembly and the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations.
"The nominee should bring originals of his identity card, academic and professional certificates and other relevant testimonials," the notice read, adding that he will also be required to present certificates of clearance from EACC, KRA, HELB, DCI and CRB.
