Jubilee politician nominated to be a judge, to be sworn in immediately

Just in

Nyachae, who unsuccessfully contested the Kisii senatorial seat in the last General Election on a Jubilee ticket, will be sworn in today (Friday 23rd February).

Earlier in the year, Nyachae's name was among those forwarded by the Jubilee to serve in the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), but failed to sail through in the National Assembly.

Before his venture into politics, the veteran lawyer served as Chairman of the Constitution Integration Commission (CIC).
