Why Joho visited Chris Kirubi 4 days after Raila's visit [Photos]

Details of Joho’s surprise meeting with billionaire Chris Kirubi

The visit which is believed to be inspired by the new wave of forgiveness and reconciliation championed by Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta happened barely a week after the opposition chief visited the ailing businessman.

Joho held discussions over a wide range of issues with the businessman during his Saturday visit at Kirubi's Kilifi home.

Kirubi later took to Twitter disclosing that “I had the pleasure of receiving a visit from governor of Msa county @HassanAliJoho at my home in Kilifi.”

“He came to wish me well as I continue to recuperate. We discussed matters of national interest, in particular nation building, investment and fostering cooperation. #AskKirubi” Added the businessman.

The visit comes barely a few days after NASA boss Raila Odinga visited the ailing billionaire businessman on Tuesday this week.

The successful entrepreneur sought treatment in the United States of America and according to a statement issued by one of his companies (Centum Limited) in March, the billionaire is responding well to treatment.
