Jubilee MPs reveal how Raila joined government to sabotage DP Ruto

Jubilee MPs dare Raila

A section of Jubilee MPs led by Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has sensationally claimed that opposition chief joined the government intentionally to sabotage DP Ruto.

The MPs alleged that Odinga is seeking power through the back door after being floored in last year’s general elections.

The MPs dared the opposition boss to vie against DP Ruto, expressing confidence that the DP will floor the veteran opposition leader.

"We want him to instead vie for the top seat in the next elections and face defeat from Ruto," Sudi said.

Rachel Ruto is no stranger to making bold yet elegant fashion statements, but during the state visit of the Dutch royals on March 18, 2025, it wasn’t just her outfit that stood out—it was her shoes. The Kenyan First Lady stepped out in a pair of brown suede block heels adorned with a gold emblem.

The lawmakers also issued a warning to MPs from the Nyanza region to stop meddling in Rift Valley politics, maintaining that the whole region is solidly behind the DP.

"We want to tell leaders from Nyanza like Outa that they should keep off from Rift Valley politics.

"We have been defeating their father Raila for the last three decades and he should be prepared to face Ruto and be defeated again" Sudi said.

The leaders were speaking at a forum in Mosop constituency, Nandi county that was also attended by Julius Melly (Tinderet) and Cornelius Serem (Chesumei) and Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei.

The opposition boss recently clarified that he had no interest in the 2022 presidential race, adding that his present focus is to unite the nation with the recently launched "Building Bridges to a New Kenya Initiative".
