DP Ruto's camp scheme to counter Raia-Moi talks

The meeting between opposition chief Raila Odinga and retired president Daniel Moi has thrown the rival Jubilee camp into panic.

Sources privy to the detail reveal that Deputy President William Ruto’s camp are concerned that Odinga could unite with the senator in a formidable alliance that could disadvantage the DP.

The two families have worked together in the past and their re-union could be a major boost to Moi who commands less support.

The DPs amp has been thrown into a frenzy and are understood to be working behind the scenes to counter the move as speculations abound that Odinga could be readying his forces for a final stab at the presidency.

Another recent meeting that has brought tension and political differences to the surface is the alliance between DP Ruto and the Muranga Governor Anne Waiguru.

During a meeting in Kerugoya, ugly scenes were witnessed as a section of youths shouted down the governor.

The DP was forced to intervene at the meeting that saw all the other in attendance leave without addressing the public.

Although the DP prevailed upon the leaders to unite so as to achieve Jubilee’s development agenda, the rivalry between Waiguru’s camp and Purity Ngirici is yet to subside going by the recent exchanges.
