Wiper to takes urgent action in response to Ford K-ANC merger talks

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has swung into action following a meeting between Members of Parliament from Western met deputy president William Ruto and that Ford Kenya and Amani National Congress could merge.

Consequently, the Wiper Party has convened an urgent meeting on Monday to determine the future of the party in the wake of recent developments in the political arena.

Speaking to The Star, Musyoka stated that the event is “going to be an earthshaking event."

The wiper party boss disclosed that the meeting would bring on board all leaders from the larger Ukambani region and not just those allied to Wiper so as to shape the political direction of the community.

The Wiper party boss has found himself on a lonely path after ODM declared that they were ready to go it alone.

The subsequent meeting between Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta only created further divisions among the NASA coalition partners.

Moses Wetangula on the other hand have teamed up with Musalia Mudavadi in a union that could see their two parties merge.

Earlier this week, MPs allied to Wetangula and Mudavadi met DP William Ruto and it has since emerged that the two rival camps could work together in the 2022 elections.

Meanwhile, ANC has since clarified that Odinga is not the NASA leader as frequently reported in the media, stating that no such title exists in the MoU signed by ODM, ANC Ford K and Wiper party during the formation of the opposition coalition.
