City lawyer's advice to Kanze Dena after 'disappointing State House briefing'

Uhuru will be heading to US late this August.

While the country eagerly awaited the press briefing, State House confirmed that President Uhuru Kenyatta had been invited by US President Donald Trump to White House, which according to Mr Kipkorir was disappointing.

“For State House, Mombasa to alert the Country to watch TV at 3:30pm, then place the Country on suspense till nearly 6pm only tell us they have an invite from White House is Chicanery, Jugglery & Skulduggery! Kanze Dena ought to have just posted it on her Twitter Timeline,” the lawyer tweeted.

Unaware

Visibly, most of Kenyans were awaiting for the President to make major changes to the cabinet, but State House instead told journalists in Mombasa that no such plan was in the offing.

“That is news to me; I am unaware of any plans by the President to reshuffle the Cabinet. If you could give me more information regarding the speculations, I would appreciate. My office has no information about those plans,” said Ms Dena.

On his part however, political analyst and lecturer at the University of Nairobi Prof Herman Manyora opined that it was high time the President made the cabinet changes, lest he will not handle the implications.

“The president ought to have the courage and strength to reconstitute his cabinet, otherwise, he will require tons of strength to handle the consequences,” Prof Manyora said via Twitter on Tuesday.
