For many Kenyans, Kenneth Matiba is the selfless champion and father of multiparty politics in Kenya.
But apart from his impressive stint in politics, politics was many things; an entrepreneur, a sportsman, a mountaineer, and most importantly – family man.
The deceased politician was father of five children – three girls and two boys.
His daughters are trailblazers in the true meaning of the word – having received the best education at a time when many Kenyan women were given very limited opportunities.
