Raila finally ends boycott against Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside

Just in

NASA Leader Raila Odinga has finally ended the economic boycott of products manufactured by Safaricom, Bidco, Brookside, and Haco Insustries.

Odinga made the announcement at Uhuru Park where he attended the celebrations meant to mark the world's Labour Day.

In his speech, Odinga instructed his supporters to end the economic boycott campaign that has continued for over six months.

“Today, I announce the end of the boycott of products from Safaricom, Bidco, Brookeside and Haco.  Our supporters are now free to use products from these companies we’d asked  them to boycott last year,” Odinga stated.

Odinga had in November last year announced that NASA supporters and leaders would boycott products associated with the four companies and accused them of taking sides with the Jubilee government.

The move appears to be part of the handshake between Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta that has seen them form a committee to resolve their political differences.
