Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua on Wednesday excited a sections of netizens on microblogging site, Twitter, after she said she preferred musician Akothee over Deputy President William Ruto.

A Twitter user, Ben Ogola, had published a post asking netizens to consider who was the better service provider between Akothee and the DP.

Ogola attached a photo of Ruto posing with poor children from Turkana County while Akothee was captured donating food to poor families in the same county.

“Consider these two. The lady, Akothee, is considered the greatest sinner, she doesn't deny it. No church in Kenya associates with her. The man, William Ruto, is considered the most holy, he even proclaims it at any given chance. Every church in Kenya is associated with him,” Ogola wrote.

“I choose Akothee,” Karua said in her reply that quickly went viral.

Those who reacted either sided with the former Justice Minister while many criticized her for her past political positions.

“For sure Martha karua is a living icon. She championed Kenyan justice system. And ruto is known for arror and kimwarer. I choose akothe,” Zak opined.

“I choose what my friend Martha has chosen as I know she is always spot on a fearless leader,” Dr Abdi Issa said.

“You were minister what did you do that people can remember you, other than forcing Kibaki to remain in power.nyamaza,” Nelson Kipkori said.
