Jubilee leaders call for emergency meeting after realizing NASA’s secret plan

The meeting had been scheduled to take place on Thursday afternoon

Jubilee’s Chief Whip in the Senate, Irungu Kang’ata, on Thursday gave a last-minute notice of motion of adjournment.

Kang’ata stated that he wanted the Senate to adjourn so that it discuss the recent bills passed by some NASA-controlled County Assemblies, calling for the establishment of People’s Assemblies.

“Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Standing Order 34, the undersigned will move on adjournment motion during today’s session (9th November 2017 Thursday in the afternoon session) for Senate to discuss the following.

"That pursuant to standing order 34, the senate adjourn to discuss a definite matter of urgent national importance regarding the tabling and discussions of motions by some county assemblies on matters beyond the legal mandate of county assemblies and which pose a threat to the constitutional order,” Kang’ata stated.

However, Kang’ata motion of adjournment was dropped and the Senate continued with its normal business.
