According to the Wiper Party Chairman Kivutha Kibwana, the coalition was forced to postpone the crucial meeting to a later date in order to allow its elected leaders to participate in the Kenya Women Parliamentary Association (KEWOPA) polls scheduled for this weekend.

KEWOPA brings together all women parliamentarians drawn from across all political parties both elected and nominated in the Senate and National Assembly.

Speaking in parliament buildings the MPs, led Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka the NASA legislator said he recognises Uhuru Kenyatta as the President of the Republic of Kenya.

"The President of Kenya is Uhuru Kenyatta. If you look at the law, Uhuru was sworn in and handed the instruments of power. He is the head of the police and Commander in Chief of the Kenyan Defence Forces. He is in charge of the Kenyan currency and he is the President,"Onyonka declared.

Prior to the Former Prime Minister's "inauguration" on January 30, NASA is set to traverse 8 counties perceived Opposition strongholds and launch the People's assembly.
