Matiang'i was high on drugs - Rights Activist blasts CS

CS Matiang'i shamed

The fiery activist has said that Matiang’i appeared to have been “high on drugs” when in parliament where he went to give an explanation following Miguna’s second deportation.

While appearing before the National Security parliamentary committee, Matiang’I said;

“There is a clique in the Judiciary that has been captured by the civil society and activist lawyers who want to embarrass the government,” adding “It is an evil clique of judicial officers who want to drag us by the collar through trial by the public court.”

Following Matiang’i’s statement, Omtata has hit out at him pointing out that his utterances were insults.

"He is totally unhinged to be making such reckless statements before such an important forum as though he was high on drugs or something because he didn't look normal to me. His utterances were basically insults," Omtata said.

The rights activist further reiterated that the Interior CS assertion was thoughtless adding that he will file a case seeking to pronounce him unfit to hold public office.

”Matiang'i thinks he is a small god” Omtata said Matiang’i made light off serious issues toughing on the rule of law.

He further stated he will write to the clerk of National Assembly Clerk seeking to interrogate him. This is after Matiang’i claimed that activists are working with the judiciary to undermine the government through court orders.
