Raila's car hit during police shoot out

Odinga was with his son Junior in the car but both were not hit.

Odinga  was in the white Range Rover when the windscreen was hit in circumstances that are not yet clear.

Raila Odinga Junior, who was in the car with his father, stated that the car was hit by a teargas cannister, adding that live ammunition was also used against the armoured car.

Other reports indicated that the shattered screen was as a result of a live bullet.

"His vehichle was hit by a teargas canister along Jogoo road but we managed to move with the convoy and we are now at Bus Station,” Junior was quoted by news site, Kenyans.co.ke.

During the match, at least 3 people were shot and a police lorry burnt as NASA supporters engaged in running battles with the security officers.
