Kalonzo cautions Raila after they differed over 2 things in public

Kalonzo Musyoka and Raila Odinga differ in public

While Raila Odinga maintained that nothing would derail his swearing in scheduled for 30 January this year, Kalonzo Musyoka called for dialogue.

Odinga’s stand was supported by thousands of his supporters who rejected calls for dialogue, demanding that Raila and Kalonzo be sworn in immediately.

Addressing opposition supporters at the same meeting, Kalonzo left no doubt that he was in support of dialogue.

“I am just warning all of us as Kenyans, and that’s why I said it pains me. If we don’t hold dialogue between now and the 30(January), we shall hold dialogue thereafter but under very difficult, different situation.” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo also made it known that he was not in support of Raila going into exile, stating that: “…and today ndugu Raila I want to caution you. You will go nowhere. You will never go on exile. Hapa ni nchi yetu, ama mnasemaje?”

Earlier this week, Odinga hinted at forming a government in exile after his swearing in scheduled for 30 January. He went ahead to reveal events that will transpire after his swearing-in.
