Details of the meeting between Governor

This is after Sonko shared a photo of him and Igathe on twitter and captioned "With special guest who paid me courtesy call in my home as am recuperating."

Speaking exclusively to Pulselive.co.ke, a source at City Hall disclosed that Igathe had gone to visit the Governor, who has been in Dubai and had a Lunch time meeting with him.

The source revealed that Sonko arrived in the country a few days ago and was recuperating, but failed to divulge more details about his sickness.

This is the first time Sonko and Igathe have made a public appearance together since the latter's resignation.

Igathe resigns as Nairobi Deputy Governor

The ex-Vivo manager resigned as the deputy Governor on January 31st stating that he had failed to gain the Governor's trust.

“I regret I have failed to earn the trust of the Governor to enable me to drive Admin & Management of the county. Without fear, favor or ill will I step down to avoid abusing or betraying my oath of office to Kenyans, Nairobians and my family. Thank you for the encouraging support given to me so far,” Igathe wrote after his resignation.

Igathe interviewed for Nation Media Group CEO Position

On Monday, a local daily reported Igathe was among the candidates who were interviewed for Nation Media Group (NMG) CEO position.

The position fell vacant after, Joe Muganda, who had been at the helm of the media house for two and a half years, resigned in January 2018.
