What Kanze Dena will do Today after State House appointment

Kanze's first duty after State House appointment

Former Citizen TV anchor Kanze Dena will on Wednesday hold her first press conference at State House after being appointed as deputy spokesperson.

Details of the press conference, which will be held at 11:30 am, are yet to be disclosed, edaily reports.  This comes barely a month after she was appointed to deputize Manoah Esipisu.

Dena was also tasked with taking leadership of the core communications teams, including digital, messaging, research, branding and press.

in the appointments, veteran journalist Munira Mohamed, who served as PSCU's Director of Press was also promoted to the position of Deputy Head, PSCU and Head of the Presidential Library.

"In order to safeguard and preserve the work and words of our nation's leaders, H.E. the President has approved the establishment of The Presidential Library, Museum and Exhibition Centre. The Library will initially focus on the legacies of Founding President H.E. Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, Second President H.E. Daniel Toroitich arap Moi and Third President H.E. Mwai Emilio Kibaki,"  part of the statement by State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita read.

Meanwhile, Dena, presented her last Nipashe Wikendi news bulletin on Sunday, June 10, where she bid goodbye to her co-host and best friend Lulu Hassan, the Citizen TV family and friends.

“In whatever work that you do, be it small or big, ensure that you put God at the forefront of your plans. He has a way of lifting those who bow before Him,” an emotional and teary Dena said on live TV.
