Raila's camp warns NASA co-principals to keep off Uhuru Pact

This is after NASA co-principals requested to meet President Uhuru

While speaking at the burial of former Standard Editor David Ohito’s uncle Laban Ohito, Siaya Senator James Orengo said that Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula should know that the agreement between Raila and President Uhuru is an exclusive matter between the two.

“Let no one try going in there. We want the two leaders to talk among themselves. We want to give them ample space without any interference,” he said.

Orengo said that the three co-principals abandoned Raila at the hour of need on January 30 when he was sworn in at Uhuru park grounds in Nairobi.

“If you know you were not in Uhuru Park, please don’t waste time demanding to be included in the talks,” said the senator who was accompanied by opposition leader Raila Odinga.

His sentiments come in wake of calls by the NASA co-principals to have an urgent meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta after they were left out of the controversial peace meeting held between the head of state and their coalition leader Raila Odinga without their consent.
