A recent scuffle in the ministries of Health and Water and Sanitation could have prompted President Uhuru Kenyatta to reshuffle his Principal Secretaries.
Top on the list is Health PS Nicholas Muraguri, who has been moved to the Prof Jacob Kaimenyi’s Lands docket.
Early this year, PS Muraguri and CS Cleopa Mailu came under fire over the Sh5.3 billion Health ministry scandal. And later when they appeared before the Parliamentary Health Committee, the two pointed accusing fingers at each other, with the CS accusing his PS of absconding duties to end the then doctors’ strike.

Dr Muraguri will now be replaced by Mr Julius Koris who has been serving as the Principal Secretary in Adan Mohammed’s Industry and Enterprise Development ministry.
"Uhuru has deemed it necessary to make changes to the organization of government. The President has purposed the changes to enhance teamwork," said State House spokesman Manoah Esipisu in a statement seen by P Live Kenya.
Meanwhile embattled Water and Sanitation Principal Secretary Mr Patrick Nduati Mwangi has been moved to the Ministry of Industry & Enterprise Development.
Nduati is said to have defied his boss (CS Eugene Wamalwa) in awarding a tender to a Chinese firm to construct Thwake dam, a scheme set to see taxpayers lose over Sh3 billion.
