Opposition Chief, Raila Odinga has sincerely thanked Kenyans for their continued prayers and support for her ailing daughter’s recovery.
The ODM party leader who has been out of the country since March 9 , posted a photo of him, Rosemary and Ida Odinga thanking Kenyans for their patriotism and prayers.
"We thank God for her terrific recovery. Thanks to your prayers, Rozzy is well and sends greetings to all," he said via his Twitter handle on Monday.
Raila also passed greeting to Kenyans from Rosemary who is recovering in South Africa where she is being treated.
Raila’s heartfelt message comes barely weeks after Kenyans forgot their tribal affiliations and united to wish Raila’s eldest daughter quick recovery following her new month post on Facebook.
Rosemary was diagnosed with meningioma, a non-cancerous brain tumor last month after she companied of continuous severe head ache, she was later hospitalized in Aga Khan Hospital and later transferred to Nairobi Hospital where doctors were to conduct a surgery to remove the tumor.
After eight days in hospital she was flown to SA for a second opinion and to recover.
While meningioma is life threatening it can cause blindness, problems with movement and other complications as it enlarges and presses into the brain.
Rosemary early this year declared her interest in vying for Kibra parliamentary seat, a seat once held by her father.
Immediately ‘Baba’ posted the photo on Twitter Kenyans from diverse grounds were overjoyed with the steady recovery Rosemary is making and expressed their gratitude.
