Raila sends a heartfelt thank you message to Kenyans for their continued prayer for her daughter's recovery

Raila’s heartfelt message comes barely weeks after Kenyans forgot their tribal affiliations and united to wish Raila’s eldest daughter quick recovery following her new month post on Facebook.

The ODM party leader who has been out of the country since March 9 , posted a photo of him, Rosemary and Ida Odinga thanking Kenyans for their patriotism and prayers.

"We thank God for her terrific recovery. Thanks to your prayers, Rozzy is well and sends greetings to all," he said via his Twitter handle on Monday.

Raila also passed greeting to Kenyans from Rosemary who is recovering in South Africa where she is being treated.

Rosemary was diagnosed with meningioma, a non-cancerous brain tumor last month after she companied of continuous severe head ache, she was later hospitalized in Aga Khan Hospital and later transferred to Nairobi Hospital where doctors were to conduct a surgery to remove the tumor.

While meningioma is life threatening it can cause blindness, problems with movement and other complications as it enlarges and presses into the brain.

Rosemary early this year declared her interest in vying for Kibra parliamentary seat, a seat once held by her father.

Immediately ‘Baba’ posted the photo on Twitter Kenyans from diverse grounds were overjoyed with the steady recovery Rosemary is making and expressed their gratitude.

“This picture has made me very happy. I have honestly been very worried about her. I am a follower on her page and she is one bright amazing lady. Come back soon Rosemary Odinga we miss you” Wangui Kingori posted.

“Good news indeed. Quick recovery dear Sista. We need you back home.....we Love you!” Ennah Shungulah

“May she recover quicker and come home sooner to your care and love. Godspeed” Nelson Mburu said

“Alhamdulillah we thank Allah and wish u a quick recovery Inshallah” Agnes Nduko posted.

“Glory to God for her recovery and your safe journey back. Beautiful family”  Patrick Mbugua said.

P Live Kenya is glad that Rosemary is making great progress and wishes her speedy recovery!
