Scores feared dead in horrific road accident involving Modern Coast bus

Scores are feared dead in a grisly road accident involving a bus and a trailer.

The accident involved a Modern Coast bus travelling from Kenya and a trailer bearing Ugandan registration details.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that at least eight people perished in the accident with several others rushed to hospital in critical conditions.

Photos at the scene of the crash along the Iganga-Bugiri highway in Uganda reveal that the bus was badly damaged in the crash with passengers’ belongings scattered all over.

The total number of casualties as well as the cause of the accident is yet to be established.
