The 45km road will be the first tarmacked road in Ganze Constituency when completed this year.

Before the road was impassable especially during rainy season while during warm season it was a hot bowl of dust.

13km of the 45km road has already been tarmacked, with 20km graveled in readiness for tarmacking.

About the song, 'Safari Ya Bamba' it is a Giriama folk song and was supposedly written and composed by George Acogny, a famous hollywood composer. Over the years it has evolved to be a classical song and several international choirs have performed it including Muungano National Choir and Safaricom Youth Orchestra (SYO).

Here is a video of the timeless classic song featured in the Ghost and the Darkness (1996) movie.

The soundtrack was all performed by the World Beaters.
