Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has joined members of Deputy President William Ruto’s Tanga Tanga in hitting out at President Uhuru Kenyatta following the heated speech on Sunday at the Akorino conference.
Uhuru's people planning to use Police, KRA to finish us - Ndindi Nyoro cries out
Ruto allies dare Uhuru for a fight
Nyoro sensationally claimed that President Kenyatta’s administration was planning to use the police and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to go after allies of the DP.
The first-time youthful MP said his colleagues had been sent by senior government officials to warn him against actively supporting the DP.
He, however, said that he was ready to take on Kenyatta’s men head on and would not be cowed.
“I respect the President and all human beings but I fear no one. Let the state operatives come for us and stop threatening us through emissaries. We are ready for them,” Nyoro said.
Kandara MP Alice Wahome has also condemned Kenyatta’s sentiments which he said were tantamount to ridiculing elected leaders.
She claimed that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has already started probing her over a 2012 case where she served as a lawyer in a case on the estate of former minister Mbiyu Koinange.
Wahome is among four lawyers accused by Koinange’s family of withdrawing Sh284 million from the estate’s account without proper court orders.
She has denied any wrong doing – saying the issue should be treated as a civil matter and not subject of criminal investigation.
