Conditions to third wife

However, Joyce and Elizabeth said they had strict conditions on the possibility of a third wife saying they would only allow it if he was able to sustain their current lifestyle.

They further explained that they would not allow a third wife who would monopolize their husband’s attention.

It will depend on whether he is capable and that’s up to him if he feels he wants a third wife. However, she had to come and live the way we do."

We have conditions. We will not allow our traditions and our way of doing things. Whether it’s a Maasai, a Kikuyu, or a Kamba we have no problem but she has to fit in our arrangement and not take away our husband’s attention,” Elizabeth said.
