A shooting incident in Lille, northern
Report says although the drive-by shooting may be linked to criminal gangs, the proximity to a train station and armed police response has sparked fears of terrorism.
Those injured, including a 14-year-old, are being hospitalised, and are not in a life-threatening condition, the report said.
The identity of the shooters have not been determined.
France has suffered a string of Islamist terror attacks during the past 12 months.
The shooting also followed Thursday's terror attack in London which left five people dead including the attacker.
