The rape suspect told the police upon his arrest that his late father was responsible for his criminal life.

The suspect who was arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Anti-Robbery Squad also disclosed that he was initiated into cultism by his father, now late, at a very tender age.

According to him in a report compiled by the Daily Post News, this is to prevent against intimidation by his peers.

Ohiememe added that his father provided him the mentoring he needed to become a notorious criminal.

This soon became a source of regret for the deceased who died wishing his son son had thought out differently.

“I was involved in so many criminal activities in the south east and south west including high level kidnappings across Nigeria,”  he said.

The suspect, who was arrested in the Okokomaiko area was nabbed following a tip-off by a gang member.
