Acid attack leaves man blind in both eyes [Video]

The assailant, Wike reportedly approached the victim and allegedly poured acid on his face and hacked him with a machete.

The incident reportedly took place in their village, Atani in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra State on May 10.

LIB reports that Emmanuel's family had approached the family of his assailant identified as Wike Ugonna, asking to use a part of a land they use for farming in their community but the family refused.

According to the reports, the issues quickly led to bad blood between both families.

Emmanuel was reportedly working on another person's farmland on the day of the attack when Wike reportedly approached him and allegedly poured acid on his face and hacked him with a machete.

The police are yet to apprehend Wike who is currently on the run.
