Nominees have camped on Twitter and Facebook to push for the votes as the competition nears home stretch, pitting huge stars alongside upstarts in what looks like it's going to be a dramatic finale of the years run of Gospel.

As Willy Paul continues to flex his muscle with his hit Tiga Wana, trotting to media house after media house (sometimes with disastrous results) Bahati is also on the map, hooking up with worship legend Jemima Thiong'o in what is promising to be a worship classic already.

Dance groups too have been been allover the place doing their thing and it remains to be seen with dance group will finally emerge the best in what is traditionally considered the hottest and most divisive category of the Awards.

Female artists too, have been waving their flag high and steadily going up the ladder upsetting even established male stars.

It will be interesting to see who among the prolific Size 8, Mercy D Lai or Evelyn Wanjiru, among others, will bag the Award for Best Female Artist.

Veteran video producers too are in the running for an award and the category is filled with mad talent that includes Cream Vision, Spotlight Media, Mike X, Maxton Media and the sensational Young Wallace.

Other hot categories include the Collabo of the Year and the New Artist as well.

Many are looking forward to see who carries the day as the Best Male Artist as most of the nominees are themselves big achievers and veteran award winners from the Grooves to the Kisimas.
