An IEBC official has committed suicide and left behind a disturbing suicide note regarding the recently concluded elections

The official identified as Orenge Nyabicha, is believed to have lit a charcoal stove and locked all the ventilation holes in the room which led to his death.
According to a postmorterm which was done after police took his body, Nyabicha died from carbon Monoxide poisoning.
A family member who spoke to the Standard Digital disclosed that he looked disturbed after returning from Imara Daima polling station when he had concluded his work.
The deceased left behind a suicide note expressing frustration with "IEBC's failure to deliver a credible, free and fair election".
The officer committed suicide just hours after Uhuru Kenyatta was declared president –elect by Chairman Wafula Chebukati and his team.
Kenyatta garnered 8,203,290 votes to beat his fierce rival Raila Odinga who had 6,762,224 votes.
However, Odinga immediately rejected the results stating that someone used the late Chris Msando’s logins and manipulated the results.
Since the announcement, protests have been witnessed in various parts of the country which include Kibera, Mathare, Kisumu, Siaya and Migori.
On Sunday, the Kenya National Commission On Human Rights () stated that 24 people had been killed by police in the protests.
The Opposition leader also held a rally on Sunday in Kibra and told NASA supporters to boycott work ahead of a major announcement on Tuesday.
