In his latest song title, Pastor Joel Kimetto praises NASA highlighting in the Kalenjin language that the Opposition will bring tremendous changes in the country if elected during the August 8 Election.

The chorus of the song has catchy phrase 'Kokeu keba Nasa' which is simply translated as - the nation has shifted to Nasa.

Mr Kimetto also uses NASA's popular phrases in his songs including, Raila tibim, Raila tinga Tialala.

The veteran gospel artiste, who is known for his song of praise to Jesus, was sharply criticised for delving into politics instead of preaching peace ahead of the polls.

A section of the public did not take the song well highlighting that for a minister of the gospel it was partisan of him to publicly take sides.

"Pastor Joel Kimetto fails Kalenjin community through his new song praising NASA instead of preaching peace," Sharon Kosgei said on Twitter.

"Pastor Joel Kimetto has been an outstanding servant of God until his recent ill song that's meant to attack H.E WILLIAM SAMOEI RUTO by praising NASA leadership for whom they aren't. We used to rely on him in Godly advice and wise words but may the good Lord forgive him and restore his thoughts," Davies Ngetich said on Facebook.

"So Joel Kimetto chooses siasa at the expense of God after serving God for decades. The song sang with praises to NASA has raised alarm to all AGC believers," Kibet Mondago opined on Facebook.
