The Kenya rugby team boarded their plane on April 3 for the HSBC World Rugby Series that will be going down in Hong Kong from 7-9.
Ambaka is out due to a personal commitment while Sikuta misses this tour due to work commitments. The team’s technical bench will announce the duo’s replacements in due course.

Despite commitments, the pull out of Willy Ambaka and Dan Sikuta can be attributed to the call by their home clubs at the Kenya Cup to overlook the duty and help their teams in the ongoing games.
On April 31 Shujaa,s coach Innocent Simiyu had named a 13 man squad set to represent Kenya at Hong Kong and Singapore series.

Brian Tanga and Dennis Ombachi had returned for the Shujaa squad while 23 year Resolution Impala Saracens winger Derrick Mayar is in line for his debut.

Tanga returns for the first time since the Sydney Sevens while Ombachi makes his first appearance of the season.
The trio come in for Billy Odhiambo (hamstring), Oscar Ayodi (knee) and Leonard Mugaisi who has been rested for this tour.
Shujaa have been grouped in Pool B with South Africa, Canada and France.
