Kenyan striker pens new deal in Zambia

Kenya international striker Jesse Were has extended his stay at Zambian Premier League side Zesco United.

The former Tusker forward joined Zesco United in early 2016 for a contract which was to end in December 2017 but the club has moved with speed to tie him with a two-year deal.

He will now ply his trade in Zambia until December 2019 as confirmed by Zesco United on their official facebook page.

“Striker Jesse Were has extended his stay at Zesco for another two years. The Kenyan and the Club have agreed on new terms. We wish Jesse all the best at Zesco United FC.”
