KCB are the new champions of the Kenya Cup after hammering defending champions Kabras Sugar 36-8 in an Entertaining game that went down at the KCB Sports club Ruaraka.
KCB got an early lead through Darwin Mukidza conversion, putting the Lions a head of the game by 3-0. Andrew Amonde try on the try line saw KCB jump to a lead of 8-0 against defending Champions Kabras Sugar.
At half-time KCB were still leading at a margin of 22-3 all thanks to Darwin Mukidza and Oliver Mangeni who score first try’s for KCB.
Mukidza of KCB had a good day after scoring one penalty, one try , one conversion while Ojee and Mangeni added the other two tries to make KCB stand at 22-3 at half time.
In the second Kabras Sugar returned while more focused with Phillip Wokorach giving them their first try to tally at 22-8.

Darwin Conversion at the 60 minute sank the Kabras Sugar boat completely, bearing in mind that KCB had scored a try at the 59 minute to settle at 29-8.
The winner of the Kenya Cup walks way with 5 million not forgetting the beautiful silverware.
Mangeni and Mukidza carried the day for KCB rugby team.
