Pope Francis’s body was dressed in ecclesiastical vestments with each piece having religious significance and sealed in his coffin ahead of his funeral service and burial at St. Mary Major Basilica
The funeral service will end with a final commendation - a concluding prayer where the Pope will be formally entrusted to God who he served faithfully during his life on earth.
