NASA leader Raila Odinga's photo at the Lee Funeral Home as he viewed the body of the late Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze has sparked heated debate on social media.

In the photo Odinga is seen paying his last respects to the late MP who lies on a morgue table covered in a cloth all over his body except his face.

Odinga is accompanied by National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi.

The photo was posted by the ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale who wrote #RIPNyenze

Nyenze passed away on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment for Coronary Cancer at a Nairobi Hospital.

However, the photo did not go down with a section of Twitter users who found the picture insensitive of the late MP's family with some asking for the photo to be pulled down out of respect for Nyenze's kin.

However, some did not see anything wrong with the picture and sent their condolences to the late MP.
