Ababu to be rewarded after losing parliamentary seat

Water CS Eugene Wamalwa has disclosed that President Uhuru Kenyatta will reward former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba after losing to ODM candidate in the recently concluded Elections.

Speaking during the fourteenth anniversary of the late vice president Michael Wamalwa, Eugene noted that it was hard for the lawmaker to retain his seat considering the area is loyal to NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

The water CS stated that the Head of State and his deputy William Ruto never forget their friends.“Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto never forget their friends and you will soon see for yourselves. “It was really a hard task for my brother Ababu to oppose Raila in his area but we tried although he lost his seat, he will have a state job," Wamalwa said.The former Budalangi MP resigned as ODM Secretary General and ditched the party in 2016 citing frustrations in his role.

He later joined the Labour Party of Kenya (LPK) and endorsed Kenyatta's re-election for a second term in office.However, the lawmaker was floored by ODM candidate and former MP Raphael Bita Wanjala for the Budalang'i seat.

Former Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka, who was among Jubilee campaigners in western, will also get a State job going by Wamalwa's words.
