It was a dramatic spectacle at Uhuru Park as National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters on Tuesday morning set ablaze a beehive they found at the venue set for Raila Odinga’s Swearing-in ceremony.

The Opposition followers claimed that it appeared that the beehive had been deployed at the Park and placed just behind the dias.

They resorted to burn it and throw in the water body at the Park.

At the same time, other NASA supporters traveling to Uhuru Park for the swearing-in were allegedly detained in Voi

Emerging reports indicate that the police officers impounded the buses heading to Uhuru Park In Nairobi for the swearing-in ceremony of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the People’s President.

OCPD Joseph Chesire confirmed the interception noting that the buses had committed traffic offences.

"In the buses there were 82 passengers who also had not adhere to traffic rules. Most of them are youth of whom 10 did not have ID cards. Among them are four women," he said.
