Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi has sentenced a Nigerian man and his Cameroonian accomplice ten years in jail after they were found in possession of Sh112 billion worth of fake currency.
Mohamed Sani alias Dr. Mustafa from Nigeria and Ousman Ibrahim Bako of Cameroon were found guilty of forgery as well as being in the country without immigration documents.
The two foreigners were arrested on January 15th,2016 at Diamond Park II Estate in Nairobi .
The magistrate ruled that the prosecution had proved its case with its evidence which included two scanners, two bottles of iodine for producing figures and marks peculiar to those used in making US dollars and Euro currency notes.
