Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu was on Tuesday afternoon arrested.
Mwilu was arrested in connection to corruption and was taken to Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) headquarters ahead of possible arraignment in court.
The arrest was personally handled by DCI George Kinoti who picked her up at the Supreme Court building.
The DPP explained that Mwilu would face charges of abuse of office and corruption.
