Anita Nderu finally speaks after being trolled all weekend

She gives her side of the story

After being subject to one of the most heated trolls on social media, Capital FM’s Hits Not Homework presenter Anita Nderu has finally spoken on the matter.

Kenyans on Twitter took it upon themselves to bash the presenter after she was unveiled as one of the winners of the long contested search for a presenter to replace Amina Abdi Rabar who moved to NTV to host the Trend.

Kenyans online felt that the competition was unfair, considering that Anita was in the judges panel looking for Amina’s replacement on the show.

Anita has since come out to defend her position saying that she was only changed departments in the station where she has been a news anchor for a number of years.

The radio queen added that she did not win but will be part of the three winners of the competition.

“After being trolled all weekend for being the third presenter of a competition I did not "win", I was simply moved departments and the actual three winners are a major part of the show I am now a part of, for once this week being 3rd isn't a bad thing!” Reads Anita’s message.

Anita Nderu is the new host of Hits Not Home Work alongside Anne Mwaura, NTV’s Tracy Wanjiru, and Jo Kisila.
