Gospel Singer Daddy Owen and his brother Rufftone are mourning the sudden demise of their Grandfather.
Owen shared the sad news via his Instagram account with a post that reads “RIP to my Grandpa... RIP Kuka”.
His Instagram family joined the conversation, sending in their heartfelt condolences to the Mwatia’s family at this difficult of losing a loved one.

Lost their Father in 2017
This comes barely 2 years after they lost their father Josephat Mwatia due to a sudden cardiac arrest..
‘’It is with sadness to inform you that we lost our dad on Saturday night due to a sudden cardiac arrest at our rural home.’’the message read in part.

Deeply saddened by the death of Mzee Josephat Mwatia, father of gospel artists Rufftone and Daddy Owen. May God comfort the grieving family” Uhuru Kenyatta.
Daddy Owen is a multiple award-winning gospel artiste who has been in the industry for more than 15 years.
Rufftone, on the other hand, is one of the pioneer gospel singers in the country with hits like “Mwikulu” released back in 2002.
