The Cabinet Secretary for Energy Charles Keter is set announce new electricity tariffs reduction that will see Kenyans pay less for power.
The announce set for Friday, will serve as good news to Kenyans amidst complaints of high electricity bills.
In January, Kenya Power was on the spot for overcharging its customers, an act that angered many Kenyans.
The over-charge was pointed out by former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) CEO Apollo Mboya who disclosed that the company had errors in its billing system.
His concern prompted Kenya power management to respond stating that the erroneous billing had been caused by migration to the new integrated customers Management System.
