Plans are underway to bring Nairobi to a standstill on Wednesday to protest a move by the government to introduce taxes levied on fuel.
Motorists have been directed to park their vehicles in the middle of the road and walk away with other pedestrians in protest.
Kenya Motorists Association confirmed that plans are in top gear to bring Nairobi to a standstill like has never been seen before.
The association has directed that the protest will take place for 3 hours from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM and will coincide with the typical Nairobi morning rush-hour.
