Diana Opoti looks stunning in this Maasai Shuka trench coat

The fab trench is a design by the incredibly talented Akinyi Odongo

When we talk about Kenyan women in fashion, Diana Opoti’s name should be up there, topping the list.

Not only is she a fashion influencer, but also the founder of 100 Days of Fashion - a genius and well thought out idea to showcase the work of fashion designers around the continent. Recently, she opened a fashion store at the Village Market  called Designing Africa Collective, where you can cop yourself amazing pieces from talented designers across Africa.

A few days ago, the fashionpreneur stepped out in a stunning Maasai Shuka trench coat and she looked stunning. We all know that the weather has not been so friendly lately. But who says that cold weather is an excuse to look frumpy? If you’re like Diana, then every day means it’s slay day.

Here’s Diana rocking the trench.

The fab trench is a design by the incredibly talented Akinyi Odongo, a local fashion designer whose brand is all about African inspired elegance.

Turns out, you can actually have the reversible version of the coat. So, if one day you’re not feeling like the Maasai prints, you choose to turn it inside out and rock a different print. How cool and thoughtful?

The trench appears to be popular among Kenyan celebrities and honestly, it’s not hard to see why. Media personality Pinky Ghelani slayed the look too!
