However, the foreign member of the couple that's on a K-1 visa doesn't get a paycheck at all. The source explained, "They cant even get paid because they have to wait for a work permit. Its of course different if filming takes place in their country."

Reports are conflicting regarding payment for the spinoffs. As 90 Day Fianc blogger John Yates told Newsweek , a couple on Before the 90 Days makes $500 an episode, while couples on Happily Ever After get between $2,000 to $7,500 episode. Some sources say that supporting cast members, such as friends and family of the couple, get paid about $250 for one day of filming, but Reality Blurb says they don't get paid at all.

Remember Nikki Cooper and Chris Thieneman, friends of David and Annie on 90 Day Fianc? Cooper claims that they weren't paid for the time on the show, even though their house was used for filming. And when Cooper and Thieneman asked production to pay to clean their house after the TLC crew tracked dirt into their home, they only offered the couple $100.

Iconic cast member Danielle Mullins, who appeared on 90 Day Fianc with her then-fianc Mohamed, ran into financial trouble in 2018 . At the time, she pointed out that the show's cast "does not make millions from doing the TV show."
