You'll certainly scream for this ice cream-like neck cyst. In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD pops a thick and creamy neck cyst. And the goop that comes out of the massive growth seriously looks like a perfectly formed French vanilla ice cream scoop.
In the clip, the patient says he believes the growth has been on his neck for about five years. To finally get rid of the festering growth, Dr. Lee squeezes the cysts contents out of a small incision. And the contents definitely has "one hard scoop of vanilla, please" vibes. Dr. Pimple Popper even puts the pop in slow-mo for good measure so you can take a good long look.
While many fans commented that pop looked like vanilla ice cream, one fan simply commented, THAT WAS A GOOD ONE. Yes, all caps and everything.
The cyst is likely epidermoid cyst , which often contains a collection of wet dead skin cells and keratin . The mixture is often off-white in color, which accounts for the vanilla hue. This type of cyst can occur on the face, neck and body, including on the neck.
