In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD pops a cyst filled with green-hued contents. Many fans have commented that the gunk resembles guacamole, forever ruining your favorite dip forever. At least you'll save money on all that extra guac.
In the clip, Dr. Lee makes a deep incision into the patients back, commenting that back skin is thick so it usually takes some digging to get to cyst's located in the region. Once Dr. Pimple Popper digs far enough, she squeezes, extracting cyst contents that is slightly green in color. To go along with the tinged hue, bagpipes play in the background.
But the removal didnt just remind fans of the luck of the Irish. The pop, which was posted on Super Bowl Sunday, made several fans recall a common game day snack.
Thanks for the reminder. I need guacamole for game time, one fan commented. Another fan commented, Guacamole! and accented their exuberant comment with an avocado emoji.
However, not every fan had guac on the brain. That looked like a nasty loogie, one fan commented on the video. Needless to say, opinions on the appearance of the cyst varied.
The cyst featured in this video is likely an epidermoid cyst , which is often filled with skin cells and keratin . These types of cysts commonly occur on the face, neck, and back. Besides often being cosmetically undesirable, epidermoid cysts can be easily irritated and tender, making removal an appealing option.
