We need to talk about non-cliché wedding gown designs.
Back in 2011, Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal wedding literally broke the internet. All eyes were on Kate, who wore a super modest floor sweeping gown whose tail was so long that her sister, Pippa Middleton had quite a job as the Maid of Honor, 'managing' the tail.
And now, this Saturday, 19th May, all eyes will be on Meghan as she ties the knot with Prince Harry. What will her gown look like? Will she go for a modest long sleeved gown like Kate did? Or will she blow our minds with something gobsmacking and trendy seeing as Meghan happens to be super fashion forward? We can only wait to see!
Now, back here at home, I have no idea who declared that wedding dresses must be long. Is it just me or all Kenyan weddings look the same? Same MCs, same songs, same venues, same themes...same wedding gown designs...sigh! If you're the kind of bride that wants a non-cliché wedding, that's not so hard to achieve. The easiest way to achieve an extraordinary wedding that will set tongues wagging is by choosing unconventional outfits. Say a bridal jumpsuit for the bride, or have the bridesmaids wear something completely different such as tuxedos, pantsuits or even all black to stand out.

And speaking of standing out, have you ever thought about walking down the isle in a short bridal gown? One that shows off your legs? Contemporary wedding designers are thinking out of the box and catering to all brides, including those that want something short(er).
If you do not want it too short, you can have a tea length or knee length bridal dress. You can also have a stunning mullet design that's short at the front and long at the back.
These designs are especially perfect for ladies who love to show their legs. If your sexy legs are your best asset, there's no reason why you should cover them. Not even on your big day.
Check out these designs:
1. Something simple for a beach wedding.
2. A pretty flirty skater bridal dress to twirl the day away.
3. A mullet bridal gown for a bride that doesn't want to show too much leg...
